Willian plays mainly behind the striker though is capable of playing on either flank and comes with bags of Champions League experience from his time at Shakhtar Donetsk.
He only left Shakhtar for Anzhi in January but the mega-rich Russians have decided to offload their prize assets and concentrate on developing their own players.
London calling: The Brazilian had a photoshoot in the capital with Sportsmail's Alan Walter in August 2011
Willian is on around £85,000 a week at Anzhi and would demand at least that if he is to choose Spurs over Liverpool.
The club-record signing would appear to increase the likelihood of Gareth Bale joining Real Madrid, given that Willian covers the same positions as the Welshman.
Madrid are determined to land Bale this summer and are believed to have offered in excess of £85m for his services.
