As if Spurs fans didn't have it hard enough trying to get to grips with their new recruits...
Andre Villas-Boas' latest signing Erik Lamela has shown an ability to cope under pressure during his relatively short career.
At River Plate, one of the biggest clubs in South America and the most successful in Argentine football history, he was thrust into the first team as a teenager to occupy the coveted playmaker role that is such an integral part of the Argentine football psyche.
But how will he fit in at Spurs specifically?

Everton narrowly avoided an exit at the hands of Stevenage
with a 2-1 extra-time win, while there were convincing wins for Cardiff,
Villa, Newcastle, Stoke, Watford and Nottingham Forest.
Oh, and in other news, Manchester United will play Liverpool in the third round. And if that wasn't enough, the game could see the return of Luis Suarez in a Reds shirt for the first time competitively since biting Branislav Ivanovic in April.
