I was more hurt than angry': Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton opens up about her split from husband Riad Erraji... and those pictures of him with Vicky Pattison
She surprised fans when she announced her split from husband Riad Erraji last month, after six years of marriage.
But now Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton has opened up about her the breakdown of the relationship, and how 'hurt' she was to see pictures of her husband with Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison just last week.
The 31-year-old has admitted that the couple simply 'fell out of love', but that she's been unable to look at the snaps of Riad with the reality star.

'I’ve deliberately avoided looking at the pics. Obviously it would be painful for me to see them,' the singer told Now Magazine.

Just a few weeks after Natasha and Riad announced their split, it seemed that he had moved on as he was pictured cosying up to Vicky during a night out in Chester.
'I feel that what Riad does now is his business. Of course it’ll hurt if and when he moves on but I know it’s inevitable. I'm hurt more than angry,' she added.

The singer admitted that their different lifestyles ultimately contributed to their split, saying that they'd grown apart and were no longer living like husband and wife.
'That’s why things changed between Riad and me. I sensed a distance between us and I knew it wasn’t working,' she said.
'We were a husband and wife but we weren’t living like a husband and wife because we were so busy with the kids and making sure they were happy. If we wanted to go out for dinner, just the two of us, we had to take the kids.'

Natasha, who has recently reunited with band Atomic Kitten, was trying to juggle looking after her three children with her career, leaving little time for romance.

'It was hard for us to juggle family life. I was in London doing eight shows a week [on stage in Blood Brothers]. The boys would come down on a Friday but I’d still be working on the Saturday afternoon and evening, so I only had Sundays off,' she said.
'That meant on that day I had to cram in all the family time with Riad and the boys and then they all had to go back up North. So when that was happening it was mostly kids, kids, kids,' she continued.
Claiming that she understands the reasoning behind Denise Van Outen's recent split from Lee Meed, she said: 'I can understand what they’ve been going through. Looking back, that time apart was responsible for us falling out of love.
'So when you’re together you have to work at it and do things to make sure you make the other person feel wanted and heard.'
'I don’t regret working away – everyone’s entitled to a career and my job’s always been about moving around. Riad married me knowing that. But eventually it did cause a lot of problems,' she admitted.
