Mesut Ozil has declared his determination to fight for his future at Real Madrid and dismissed interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.
At a packed press conference at the Bernabeu Stadium to mark Ozil's new boot deal with adidas, Ozil said: 'I am happy to be a Real Madrid and proud to be part of this team. I have a contract until 2016.
'It is an honour and a privilege to be part of this team. I am flattered that great teams are interested in me. But I have a contract at Real Madrid and I will stay. There is no discussion.'
It is an emphatic response to the speculation but whether this is the end of interest from United and Arsenal remains to be seen.
Emphatic: Mesut Ozil has decided he will stay in Madrid

Emphatic: Mesut Ozil has decided he will stay in Madrid
Convinced: Angel Di Maria has also decided to stay and has convinced Carlo Ancelotti to keep him in his first team plans
When Real complete the imminent £86m swoop for Gareth Bale there will be an excess of players in his position, and the feeling in Madrid is that manager Carlo Ancelotti would be happy to allow the Germany play-maker to go as the club seek to recoup some of their massive outlay.
Ozil, 24, will fall behind Bale and Isco in the pecking order and fuelled this feeling when he reacted badly when he was substituted during Monday's 1-0 win at Granada, storming straight down the tunnel and onto the team bus.
Wealth of options: Carlo Ancelotti has an abundance of attacking options at his disposal
Like Ozil, Angel Di Maria has also decided to remain at the club despite the arrival of Bale.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain were all chasing Angel Di Mara as Bale is expected to be his direct replacement in the team.
But the Argentine winger decided two months ago to stay and fight for his place. Ancelotti has been impressed with his attitude, and the 25-year-old performed well against Granada
He was involved in the goal, crossing for Cristiano Ronaldo who set up Karim Benzema, and worked hard the whole game.
Imminent: Gareth Bale is set to arrive at Real Madrid soon - a move that could spell lesser playing time for Ozil and Di Maria
