An unhappy handover: Lee Mead drops off daughter Betsy and the car to a glum Denise Van Outen at his former marital home

While there is speculation Lee Mead and Denise Van Outen are working on their relationship, for now the two are living separate lives, only coming together for the sake of their daughter Betsy.
On Monday, Lee arrived at his former home to drop off his only child to his estranged wife, and together they carried the three-year old's bags and scooter into the house.
But the stage actor didn't just drop off Betsy and her things, but also the car too, as he headed off towards the Tube station following the seemingly amicable handover.

Denise, 39 couldn't muster her usual cheery grin throughout the exchange, hiding behind a large pair of sunglasses, and wearing a thigh-skinning floral dress that looked far brighter than the Essex girl's demeanour.
The mother-of-one had arrived back from her usual radio slot on Magic FM, but no doubt treated her listeners to a shinier mood than that which she presented at home.
After 45 minutes, Lee left the house and headed towards the nearest Tube station, leaving his wife and daughter behind.

But things may be looking up for Denise as it has been claimed that the 39-year-old TV presenter wants to get back with her husband and give things another go.
After stepping out for a stroll with daughter Betsy on her scooter on Thursday, rumours have been circulating that divorce for the pair could be a long way off.
According to The People, the couple met up last week to try and talk things through, and it is thought divorce proceedings may to be for a long while yet.

A source told the paper: 'They decided to talk things through and see what they can make work. They went through everything and are seeing what happens next.
'She is heartbroken and sad her marriage ended. She and Lee had something really special. They know it is a long road but it is one Denise wants to explore.'
The source also told the newspaper that there is no divorce paperwork to be issued, and the prospect hasn't even been discussed.

News of their split was revealed last last month, following much speculation about their three-year marriage.

She was wearing a paisley boho dress with silver gladiator sandals, a hand of Fatima necklace, and she carried a cream handbag and wore oversized white-framed aviator shades.
Denise left her golden blonde locks out in an effortless blow-dried look, and her elegantly-long limbs were bronzed to perfection.

Betsy looked adorable in a white dress with a polka dot back, pink trainers and pink frilly socks and left her light brown hair scraped back into a messy pony tail.
The pair looked so happy to be together and Denise appeared to be showing no signs of strain despite going through a difficult month.
After the split Denise was pictured without her wedding ring, while Lee was pictured still wearing his over the weekend, despite having moved out of their London home.
Denise had previously admitted the time they spent apart while Lee was filming in the US had put a 'massive strain' on their relationship.
