'You're a danger to women!' Sinead O'Connor blasts Miley Cyrus with ANOTHER open letter after singer pokes fun at her breakdown

The video for Miley's hit single Wrecking Ball was inspired by Sinead O'Connor.
But it's clear that there is no longer any love lost between the two.
Sinead O’Connor has angrily hit out at Miley Cyrus for poking fun of her battle with mental illness in a second open letter directed at the star.

Bitter feud: Sinead O'Connor and Miley Cyrus have been hitting out at each other on social media since Sinead warned Miley not to allow the music industry to ‘prostitute’ her
The row came after Sinead first wrote an open letter warning Cyrus not to allow the music industry to ‘prostitute’ her.
In response Miley took to Twitter and likened the Nothing Compares 2 U songstress to mentally ill actress Amanda Bynes, alluding to Sinead's public breakdown in 2012.

Now Sinead has labelled Miley a ‘danger to women’ and implied Miley herself could be headed for a breakdown if she continues on her current path.

However, Miley doesn't appear concerned, tweeting in response: 'Sinead. I don't have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week.
'So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. :)'

In a posting on her Facebook page entitled, ‘ANOTHER OPEN LETTER TO MILEY CYRUS,’ O’Connor warns Miley that taking her on is ‘even more f*****’ stupid than behaving like a prostitute and calling it feminism.’
She also blasts Miley for mocking both hers and Amanda’s public breakdowns and warned it could happen to Cyrus too.
She writes, ‘You have posted today tweets of mine which are two years old, which were posted by me when I was unwell and seeking help so as to make them look like they are recent. In doing so you mock myself and Amanda Bynes for having suffered with mental health issues and for having sought help.

‘I mean really really… who advises you? have you any idea how stupid and dangerous it is to mock people for suffering illness? You will yourself one day suffer such illness, that is without doubt. The course you have set yourself upon can only end in that, trust me.’

Sinead even threatens legal action against Miley if she doesn’t remove her tweets, including one which said ‘Before Amanda Bynes… There was…' accompanied by a screengrab of Sinead’s old Twitter account in which the singer asked for psychiatric help.
The screengrab refers to Sinead's public breakdown, which she later blamed on post-traumatic stress stemming from her childhood.

Sinead continues in her latest letter to Miley: ‘I am staggered that any 20 yr old woman of the 21st century could behave in such a dangerous and irresponsible manner as to not only send the signal to young women that its ok to act like prostitutes but also to the signal that those who have suffered or do suffer mental health problems are to be mocked and have their opinions invalidated.
‘Have you no sense of danger at all? or responsibility? Remove your tweets immediately or you will hear from my lawyers. I am certain you will be hearing from all manner of mental health advocacy groups also. It is not acceptable to mock any person for having suffered.
‘It is most unbecoming of you to respond in such a fashion to someone who expressed care for you. And worse that you are such an anti-female tool of the anti-female music industry. I hope that you will apologise to Amanda Bynes and to any person who has been wounded by your mockery of those who have suffered. And I hope that you will wake up and understand that you in fact are a danger to women.’
Miley also posted an old picture of Sinead tearing up a picture of the Pope in a 1992 Saturday Night Live skit.
Sources close to Sinead told the Daily Mail last year that her slow descent into mental illness started after the televised stunt, which was intended as a protest against child abuse in the Roman Catholic Church.
But people didn't believe Sinead and she was decried as a fanatic.  Her career soon imploded.

Before Amanda Bynes.... There was....
  1. How awful of you to make fun of Mental Illness! Not Cool!
  2. what? That girl was saying that Miley needed help when it's the other way around, so pay back is a bitch :D
  3. she was the one who started it so why can't Miley just end it?
  4. , Id listen to her if I were you. She's wise as can be. AND isnt just bashing you bcuz every1 else is,shecares
  5. : Before Amanda Bynes.... There was.... - nasty piece of work
  6. wow I thought you were OK before but you're a really nasty little person! You don't like having anyone but suck ups around I see
  7. dude please. Retweeting old tweets from a time of distress, comparing her to Amanda Byrnes as if both are to be laughed at...
  8. I get why she'd be "who the fuck is this b. to give me advice", but her response was that of a bully. Shame
  9. I can't believe is pointing fun of ..that's embarrassing
  10. Yeah that's a fake account hun! RT: Before Amanda Bynes.... There was....
  11. I just can't see where you're coming from really, I think she did the right thing, she is no bully.
  12. Yea. She deserved it after what she said to miley.
  13. it's about comparing her to amanda Bynes who is being treated and had a condition. No reason to bring her into this.
  14. Amanda bynes has fucking issues, she told Miley She was ugly, she should look at herself. miley is right.
  15. that's so fucking disrespectful..
And Sinead hits out at Miley for her ‘staggering ignorance’ about child abuse in the Roman Catholic Church.

She adds: ‘Furthermore you posted a photo of me tearing the pope’s photo .. as if to imply insanity.. by doing so all you have achieved is to expose your staggering ignorance. I suggest you read The Philadelphia Report, The Boston Report, all the reports which will illuminate for you why that action of mine remains sane and valid.
‘By mocking it you mock every child who suffered sexual abuse at the hands of priests and had it covered by the Vatican. You could really do with educating yourself, that is if you’re not too busy getting your t**s out to read.’
The feud originally kicked off when Sinead wrote an open letter to Miley after the young star revealed that her Wrecking Ball video was inspired by O’Connor’s iconic video for Nothing Compares 2 U.

While Sinead’s letter was harshly honest, it was also complimentary to her music, as the 46-year-old advised: ‘You have enough talent that you don’t need to let the music business make a prostitute of you.’
She continued: ‘Your records are good enough for you not to need any shedding of Hannah Montana. She’s waaaaaaay gone by now. Not because you got naked but because you make great records.
In the letter the Irish singer/songwriter admitted she was flattered that Miley sees her as somewhat of a role model but, as someone who is no stranger to controversy, she told a cautionary tale.
She wrote: ‘I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way "cool" to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether it’s the music business or yourself doing the pimping.
Nothing but harm will come in the long run, from allowing yourself to be exploited, and it is absolutely NOT in ANY way an empowerment of yourself or any other young women, for you to send across the message that you are to be valued (even by you) more for your sexual appeal than your obvious talent.’
